Express Professionals Employment of Bedford has partnered with a company that is needing a Logistics Coordinator to join their team. Shift: 8:00am to 5:00pm (Monday thru Friday) Starting pay: $22hrly
Responsibilities • Coordinate the routing of import bookings. Both air and ocean • Coordinate with shippers, truckers, steamship lines, Airlines and overseas offices for the export of shipments. • Timely preparation of rates and quotes for customers and overseas agents • Communication of arrival notification. • Pre-Alerts • Prepare all necessary shipping documentation related to customs clearance • Arrange delivery.
Qualifications • 2 years of logistics and Freight forwarding preferred • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing • Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Comfortable making decisions independently • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Deep understanding of U.S customs laws and import/export regulations.
