Pay: $20 - $21 per hour based on experience

Type: Five-month temporary contract

Schedule: 8 hour shifts between 7:00AM and 7:00PM Monday – Friday

Job Description:

The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for managing patient information requests, verifying insurance details, and coordinating the release of medical records with healthcare providers and insurance companies.

Primary Responsibilities: • Log and process release forms received from healthcare providers.

• Conduct outbound calls to insurance companies for verifications and information requests.

• Complete insurance verification to ensure patient coverage and accuracy.

• Contact providers to request and obtain necessary medical records.

• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Good communication and phone etiquette.

• Experience in a medical office or administrative role is preferred.
