Job Description

The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician installs, maintains, and repairs a wide range of industrial machinery and systems with a strong focus on electrical maintenance. This role works across mechanical, electrical, and automation disciplines to keep production equipment operating safely, efficiently, and reliably in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities • Install and repair systems, apparatus, and components of industrial machinery to support safe and efficient production. • Perform electrical maintenance on industrial equipment, including troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues. • Carry out mechanical maintenance tasks on machinery, including inspection, adjustment, and replacement of mechanical components. • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure consistent equipment performance. • Inspect, maintain, and repair gear boxes to prevent downtime and extend equipment life. • Install, configure, and maintain variable frequency drives (VFDs) and related control components. • Support and maintain human-machine interfaces (HMIs), ensuring accurate display and control of equipment functions. • Troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), with emphasis on Allen Bradley systems, to diagnose and resolve control issues. • PLC maintenance and basic programming adjustments as needed to support automation systems. • Perform industrial electrical maintenance, including work on conveyors and other production line equipment. • Interpret and work from blueprints and electrical schematics to complete installations and repairs accurately. • Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status to relevant stakeholders to support continuous operations.
