Role and Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managing warehouse tasks such as receiving, picking, and maintaining goods and equipment, supporting efficient operations throughout the facility. • Receive and verify incoming components for accuracy from suppliers, update the digital system, and store the items in the correct warehouse location. • Use an RF scanner to pick required parts from various storage levels and place them onto production carts. • Engage actively in cycle counting processes, programs aimed at consolidating storage areas, and maintaining the cleanliness of inventory and warehouse sites. • Expand your knowledge within the department and be ready to lend a hand in other departments as required. • Check for potential errors and review the work of team members to meet customer expectations effectively. • Observe the protocols detailed in the company handbook and departmental regulations, show respect for your colleagues, and give precedence to ensuring safety measures are in place. • Ensure that warehouse machinery is well-maintained based on the schedule and report any equipment issues promptly. • Assume accountability for one's conduct and job execution, promoting a favorable outlook and unity among colleagues. • Engage in activities organized by the company, such as suggestion initiatives and quality improvement workshops. • Carry out any other responsibilities as requested.
The Mandatory Skills and Experience Needed for the Role: • Successful applicants will have a background of one year in using sit-down or stand-up forklifts. • Skill in packing and material manipulation. • Skill in RF scanner operation and loading procedures. • Mastery of the procedures for sending and receiving packages.
Preferred Qualifications: • Possessing a forklift certification is preferred. • Readiness to be trained in different departments for enhanced skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
The starting salary is $19.80 per hour and provides opportunities for progression within the company. Permanent staff members can benefit from two annual bonuses based on their performance.
