Maintenance Engineer Lead

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to work on a variety of manufacturing equipment, including electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and high-speed packaging machinery. Responsibilities • Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment including electrical 480v systems, hydraulic systems, PLCs, high-speed fillers, steamers, tray packaging equipment, blow molders, and palletizer equipment. • Conduct troubleshooting and preventative maintenance to ensure operational efficiency. • Utilize skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to resolve equipment issues. • Use tools such as multimeters, proximity sensors, and photoelectric sensors to diagnose and repair equipment. • Perform basic welding and work with gearboxes and pump systems. Essential Skills • Experience in manufacturing maintenance, particularly in the beverage industry. • Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repair on 480v systems. • Mechanical experience with conveyors. • Knowledge of PLCs and robotics. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with basic welding and gearboxes. • Knowledge of cavitation in pumps or sensors. • Familiarity with food or beverage manufacturing maintenance. • 5+ years of Experience Why Work Here? Work Environment This position operates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a night shift schedule from 6pm-6am, following a 2-2-3 work pattern. The plant runs 7 days a week, including holidays, requiring both preventative and reactive maintenance efforts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.70 - $36.70/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
