Job Title: Service Technician Job Description As a Service Technician, you will work onsite performing repairs and modifications on high-end modular units, such as trailers used for offices and schools. Your role will involve HVAC, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and other skilled repairs. You will be required to handle tasks such as HVAC repairs, electrical installations, plumbing, carpentry, finish trim, framing, installing drywall, wall paneling, batten, ceiling tiles, and painting. Experience in construction or facilities maintenance is highly beneficial. Responsibilities • Perform HVAC repairs and maintenance. • Conduct electrical installations and troubleshoot electrical issues. • Carry out plumbing tasks including installation and repair. • Execute carpentry work, including framing and finish trim. • Install drywall, wall paneling, batten, and ceiling tiles. • Perform painting tasks for modular units. • Utilize tools such as circular saws, pneumatic tools, framing nailers, and cordless drills. Essential Skills • 2+ years of experience in HVAC, mechanical installation or repair, and electrical work (110 volt/simple circuits). • Proficiency in using hand and power tools. • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing. • Electrical experience with troubleshooting and repair. • Skills in carpentry and painting. Why Work Here? Despite working outdoors, your tasks won't be disrupted by weather conditions. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4:30 pm, with two breaks and a lunch. You'll drive a company vehicle to and from work sites, with travel up to 3 hours to job locations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of san antonio, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
