CPA Bookkeeper – Now Hiring! Location: Shreveport, LA Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Professional Services / Accounting

? Required Skills & Prerequisites (Must-Haves)

Active CPA license (or CPA candidate with strong bookkeeping experience) Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop & QuickBooks Online Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes 3+ years of bookkeeping or public accounting experience Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Experience managing multiple client accounts Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information Excellent communication and client service skills

?? Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

Experience in tax preparation or tax support Background in small business accounting Familiarity with payroll processing Prior work in a CPA firm or multi-client environment

?? Job Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records for multiple client accounts Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bookkeeping functions Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking Support the CPA with audits, tax documents, and year-end processes Review client financials for accuracy and compliance Communicate directly with clients to gather information and resolve discrepancies Ensure all records meet regulatory compliance standards
