Now Hiring: Buyer / Purchaser (Manufacturing)

Salary: Up to $80K

We are seeking an experienced Buyer/Purchaser to join a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring the timely sourcing of electronic components and materials to support production demands and customer needs. Responsibilities • Manage procurement of materials, components, and parts to meet production and sales demands • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery timelines • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by sourcing suppliers and aligning materials with project schedules • Monitor and communicate order status, critical deliveries, and supply risks • Expedite or adjust purchase orders based on shifting business needs • Maintain accurate supplier data and purchasing documentation within ERP/MRP systems • Analyze inventory levels to prevent shortages and minimize excess stock • Drive process improvements, including inventory reduction strategies (JIT, Kanban) • Perform purchasing transactions including PO processing, receiving, and 3‑way matching • Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships and conduct performance evaluations Qualifications • 5+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment • 2+ years of experience with MRP/ERP systems (MAS 500 or similar preferred) • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on cost savings and quality • Knowledge of manufacturing best practices (JIT, Kanban, TQM) • Experience working with BOMs, material flow, and returns processes • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) • Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
