Senior Accountant – Accounting & Financial Reporting
Overview
• Join the U.S. corporate accounting and reporting team of a global organization
• Team reports into international headquarters and partners closely with senior leadership
• Role spans corporate accounting, financial reporting, technical accounting, and process improvement
• Works closely with shared services and multiple cross-functional stakeholders
• Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office with flexibility for appointments
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and analyze month-end journal entries and complex accruals
• Support accounting areas including hedge accounting, IFRS 16, deferred compensation, rebates, provisions, and reserves
• Partner with shared services to ensure timely close, reconciliations, and accurate reporting
• Coordinate monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages to global headquarters
• Respond to financial reporting requests from leadership and key internal stakeholders
• Support ongoing projects to enhance accounting processes and reporting quality
• Provide guidance and support to staff-level accountants
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of experience
• CPA track preferred
• Exposure to technical accounting and financial reporting concepts
• ERP experience such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable operating in a matrixed, collaborative environment
