Senior Accountant | Private Real Estate | $90K–$120K | Hybrid

Position Overview

A leading real asset investment management firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its growing private real estate platform. This role offers broad exposure across fund accounting, investment-level accounting, and operational/property accounting within a highly collaborative investment environment.

Designed as a flexible, hands-on role, this position will partner closely with senior leadership and provide exposure to financial reporting, capital activity, investment analytics, and cross-functional initiatives across the platform.

Key Responsibilities • Support accounting and financial reporting across private real estate funds, joint ventures, and related entities • Perform monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries, cash activity, and fair value adjustments • Perform investment-level analysis including IRRs and time-weighted return tracking • Review acquisition, disposition, financing, and other transaction activity for proper accounting treatment • Support treasury activities including cash management, reconciliations, debt tracking, and covenant reporting • Partner cross-functionally with portfolio management, asset management, and fund administration teams

Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required • 4–6 years of accounting and financial reporting experience • Real estate, private equity/debt, or investment accounting experience preferred • Exposure to partnership accounting, private funds, or joint ventures is a plus • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
