Pay: $25.00 per hour, paid weekly!

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm

About this Opportunity:

The Production Supervisor ensures timely production of high-quality products, provides exceptional service to the company's customers, and works efficiently and cost effectively so that our profits can support the programs of Vision Loss Resources.

What You'll Be Doing: • Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff in the department. • Oversee the daily workflow of the department. • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations. • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. • Recommend temp staff for full time positions when appropriate.

What makes you a great fit: • Possess solid analytical skills to forecast and anticipate production needs and capabilities. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve conflicting interests and obtain cooperation. • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations under stress. • Intermediate internet and MS Office skills. Strong Excel and data entry skills • Associates degree in related field or equivalent industry work experience required; Bachelors degree in related field. • 4+ years of production operations experience in a high volume, quick turn environment • Prior supervisory experience desirable. • Experience working with diverse populations and English language learners preferred. Spanish language abilities desirable. • Knowledge of lean manufacturing is beneficial • Prior experience with MAX, or comparable, MRP system
