Field Sales Executive – Logistics / Freight Forwarding

Location: Atlanta-based – Field sales and territory development

Compensation: $75,000 – $125,000 Base + Uncapped Commission (Total Comp ~$150K-$200k+)

Overview

A financially stable, growth-oriented logistics and freight forwarding provider is expanding its sales team and hiring a Field Sales Executive with a proven background in transportation/logistics sales. This is a true hunter role focused on developing new business across domestic and international freight services.

This opportunity is ideal for a salesperson currently working in the transportation industry who wants more autonomy, a wider service portfolio to sell, strong operational support, and uncapped earning potential. Territory / Work Style Field sales role with HQ in North Atlanta for weekly sales meetings The majority of time should be spent in the field meeting with customers Minimal micromanagement — strong self-management expected Job Duties Prospect, develop, and close new business in the transportation/logistics space Sell multi-modal solutions, including domestic, international, and specialized freight Maintain an active pipeline of new opportunities Meet with customers in person and build long-term relationships Work closely with operations to deliver customized solutions Manage accounts while continuing to grow new revenue Exceed annual sales and gross profit targets Services Truckload & LTL International Air & Ocean Freight Import / Export Services Freight Forwarding Specialized Equipment (flatbed, oversized, etc.) Consolidation & Warehousing Domestic Air Freight Additional value-added logistics solutions Requirements 3+ years of transportation / logistics sales experience (5+ preferred) Experience selling freight forwarding, international, or multi-modal services strongly preferred Hunter mentality with proven success in building new accounts Ability to sell to multiple decision makers within an organization Comfortable working independently in a field-based role Strong communication and relationship-building skills Team-player mindset with willingness to collaborate with operations Proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office tools Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience) Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $75K – $125K, depending on experience Uncapped commission based on gross profit (high earning potential) Flexible structure for candidates with a book of business Medical, dental, life, and LTD coverage 401(k) eligibility Paid holidays, PTO, and sick time Car allowance and gas plan Strong operational support team Financially stable, debt-free company Additional Company Benefits Established, well-respected freight forwarder with 25+ years in business Not asset-based — wide range of solutions to sell Long-tenured operations team with deep industry knowledge True sales autonomy — no micromanagement Ethical, solution-driven culture Ability to keep and grow your accounts Leadership actively supports sales in closing business Please apply if you’re a logistics sales professional who wants the freedom to hunt, the support to win, and the compensation to match performance.
