We’re looking for candidates with Machine operator experience and a willingness to learn to join our client’s team in Medina, Ohio. Previous plastics or extrusion experience is helpful, but not required.

Our client is a fifth generation family company with a strong focus on honesty, integrity, and diligent craftsmanship of their products. They are one of the largest suppliers of their product to their target market in the United States.

Shifts:

• 2nd: 2pm - 10pm

• Training: 6am - 2pm for 6-8 weeks

• Lead Operator Training: 6am - 2pm for 8-12 weeks

Pay:

• $17/hr - Extruder operators

• $19/hr - Lead Operators

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce products using several processes including pouring, extruding, pressing and dipping

• Measure, record, and adjust machines to maintain product consistency

• Stacking pallets

• Record data into the production tracking system

• Minimize downtime / scrap and recommendations on improving performance

• Trouble-shoot machine/raw material issues

• Work/communicate with other departments as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior machine operation experience required

• Comfortable with software/printers

• Extrusion machine operation experience preferred

• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to read/write/perform basic math

• Good manual dexterity/coordination

• Can stand 8+ hours a day

• Must be able to tolerate hot conditions
