We are currently seeking candidates with mechanical assembly experience for an Assembler position in Streetsboro, Ohio.

In this position you will be responsible for assembling metal and mechanical components, interpreting drawings, performing quality inspections, and supporting production operations in a manufacturing environment.

Shift:

• 6:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

Pay:

• $18/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fitting, alignment, drilling, tapping, deburring, riveting, and fastener installation per requirements

• Interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, BOMs, and assembly work instructions accurately

• Conduct basic fabrication tasks such as cutting, grinding, filing, and minor adjustments to ensure proper fit

• Operate machines and equipment commonly used in metal assembly (pneumatic tools, torque tools, presses, drills)

• Inspect incoming fabricated components for defects, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to specifications

• Verify assemblies meet tolerances and quality standards using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), job travelers, and production schedules

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation following 5S and safety guidelines

• Adhere to all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and OSHA standards

• Handle materials safely, including lifting, rigging, and use of hoists when applicable

Minimum Requirements:

• 1–3 years of mechanical assembly experience, preferably in metal fabrication or manufacturing

• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings

• Strong proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments

• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
