Job Description
We are partnering with a well-established manufacturer seeking an experienced Inside Sales / Technical Sales Representative to serve as a key point of contact for customers, distributors, and internal teams, supporting sales growth through technical expertise, order management, and customer engagement.
This role manages incoming sales and technical inquiries, evaluates when Engineering support is needed, and coordinates closely with Production to ensure customer requirements are met. Responsibilities • Maintain client relationships and accurate CRM data • Partner with distributors to support customer relationships, presentations, and delivery coordination • Review and enter orders in the ERP system • Prepare sales and forecasting reports to support pricing, commissions, and distributor programs • Monitor sales trends and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities for the business Requirements • 2- or 4-year degree in a related field • 5+ years of technical sales experience specific to circuit boards, controls and systems • Ability to analyze and interpret scientific and technical journals, drawings, and related documentation • Strong data analysis and writing skills • Outstanding customer service skills with professional phone etiquette • Solid mathematical, presentation, and problem-solving abilities • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills Why join the team: • Outstanding benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and more • Long-term stability with a strong, established customer base • Collaborative work environment with a highly tenured and experienced team • Room for advancement within the organization
