Production Assembler – Express Pros–Akron Location: Akron, OH Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift (Overtime available as needed)

About the Role Express Pros–Akron is seeking a Production Assembler to join our Operations team. In this role, you will assemble components into sub-assemblies and final assemblies following established guidelines and quality standards. Your work directly contributes to delivering high‑quality products our customers rely on. Key Responsibilities Under the direction of the Operations Director and Team Lead, you will: • Assemble product components into sub-assemblies and final assemblies using established guidelines and quality standards • Utilize a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively • Inspect parts and assemblies, providing feedback to management to prevent defects • Maintain a clean and organized work area • Support other departments as needed Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: • The ability and willingness to learn new skills • Strong personal responsibility with consistent, high‑quality work • The ability to read and follow detailed written and verbal instructions • Self‑motivation with minimal need for supervision • Reliable and timely attendance • A cooperative, team‑oriented attitude Physical Requirements This position regularly requires: • Standing, walking, and using hands to handle or assemble parts • Lifting/moving up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally • Clear vision at multiple distances, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment Work Environment • Exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration on occasion • Moderate noise level typical of a production environment If you’re looking for a stable, hands‑on role with a company that values teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement, Express Pros–Akron wants to hear from you!
