Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Production Technician for a local client in East Baton Rouge. A recession-proof company is seeking a long-term employee for an evaluation hire. Looking for long-term career-minded individuals to grow with the company. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Plant Operator: • Operates various circuits • Adds the proper additives to batches, in weighed amounts per batch sheet • Pack finished goods in bags with pallets • Operates mobile equipment • Operates stretch wrap equipment, installing plastic bags as required • Warehouses finished goods, stacking straight and level • Unloads inbound trucks and loads outbound trucks • Maintains the quality of the product • Maintains equipment as required • General clean-up duties when production is not being done. • Maintains records related to the production, warehousing & shipping functions • Performing all functions in a safe manner • Maintaining a clean workplace, cleaning between runs and after production as required SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Must have steel-toe boots • Must have previous forklift experience • Previous experience with a front-end loader is not required but would be preferred • Need to have Chemical experience WAYS TO APPLY: (choose one) • Via our website: .
