Express Employment Professionals are currently seeking an Experienced candidate for a General Maintenance Technician for a full-time position in Cache Valley! *The starting salary for this position is $30.19/hr. (PAY IS NEGOTIABLE for someone experienced) **$28.75/hr during training period in the day shift. Training might be 3 months. *12-hour Grave shifts 7:00 pm- 7:00 am Potential Schedule: • Week 1: Wed, Thu, Fri Week 2: Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri OR • Week 1: Mon, Tu, Sat, Sun (Double time paid on Sun) • Week 2: Mon, Sat, Sun (Double time paid on Sun) *Full benefits offered! *Paid vacation and holidays Job Responsibilities for the General Maintenance Technician: • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment by completing required repairs on industrial equipment. • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery. • Process necessary documentation regarding procedures performed. • Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance. • Demonstrated ability to perform mechanical and hydraulic repairs used in mechanical maintenance work assignments. • Locate sources of problems by observing electrical/mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. • Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. • Ensures all maintenance and repair activities following OSHA, Federal, Local safety standards. Job Requirements for General Maintenance Technician: • 2 years of maintenance experience in industrial equipment • Experience in ammonia and/or refrigeration • Able to meet the physical demands of the job (Standing for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, squatting, heavy lifting, go up and down stairs, etc.) • Understanding of safety procedures • Experience with power tools • Critical decision-making ability • Experience in industrial manufacturing a plus • Flexible and dependable with reliable transportation • Pass a drug test and background check Benefits include but not limited to: • Great health and dental insurance after 600 hours!! • 401 K, 5% Match • $2000 sign on bonus • 5 day vacation pay at 90 days, 10 days at 1 year, 15 days at 5 years!! • Double time pay on Sundays starting from day 1 • Raises start as soon as 90 days! • Job security YEAR round and over time available!!
