Warehouse Associate - Packer/ Forklift - CALL 310.923.7580

Job Title: Warehouse Associate - Packer and Forklift Location: Compton Rate: $18/hr MUST BE FORKLIFT CERTIFIED AND HAVE PACKING EXPERIENCE Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ? • Fulfill customer orders by gathering finished goods • Review order details and fulfill customer shipment requests that could include specific pallet sizing, dimensions, custom fastening materials, etc.? • Identify and assemble packaging materials (wooden/cardboard containers, shrink-wrap) to prepare the order for shipment.? ? • Scan all finished goods into E1 system prior to shipment. Prepare orders for internal shipments and to other company?locations (CA, TN) across the US.? • Safely load finished goods onto trailer using appropriate equipment.? • Transport pallets across the?warehouse?using appropriate equipment while following the cycle inventory process of?1st in / 1st out. ? • Perform daily cycle counts (2x/day) to validate physical inventory against inventory reflected in the system (E1).? • Conduct 5S daily to ensure that work and the surrounding area are well organized, clean, and safe.? ? Skills • Operate Sit-down and Standup forklifts and Cherry Picker. • Effective communication across all departments • Ability to multi-task while managing time effectively • Strong attention to detail? Physical Requirements • Must be able to lift and move items or boxes up to 30lbs (~50% of the time) and boxes up to 50lbs from time-to-time (less than 1% of time). ? Years of Experience • 1+ years of?warehouse?experience as well as Inventory control(shipping and receiving).
