Job Description
We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our team on 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in metal core and hard wire welding using .045 wire, and must be able to pass a weld test. This is a physically demanding role requiring attention to detail, blueprint reading, and precise measuring.
Responsibilities:
• Perform MIG welding using hard wire and .045 metal core
• Interpret and work from blueprints and drawings
• Accurately read a tape measure and measure materials
• Operate safely while lifting heavy components
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow welding procedures and quality standards
• Work four 10-hour days on 1st shift, with mandatory overtime as needed
Requirements:
• Proven MIG welding experience, specifically with hard wire and .045 metal core
• Ability to pass a hands-on weld test
• Experience reading blueprints and tape measures accurately
• Must be able to lift heavy materials as required
• Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime when scheduled
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Certification in welding (a plus, but not required)
