Pay Rate: $65.00 / hourly
Location: Stockton, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee key supply chain functions including production planning, materials purchasing, inventory management, vendor coordination, and distribution operations. This role is responsible for ensuring materials and products move efficiently through the supply chain to meet production demands and customer expectations.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and leadership skills, experience with supply chain systems such as MRP or SAP, and the ability to drive improvements in operational efficiency, cost control, and inventory accuracy.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist with overseeing production planning, materials purchasing, inventory control, price setting, vendor selection, and distribution operations
• Monitor the movement of raw materials, work-in-progress inventory, and finished goods to ensure production schedules and customer requirements are met.
• Collect and analyze data to forecast demand and anticipate inventory needs
• Maintain communication with vendors and submit purchase orders and requisitions to ensure a continuous supply of materials.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase operational accuracy.
• Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Document and evaluate the performance of supply chain personnel and operational processes
• Ensure all supply chain documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain compliance with 5S workplace organization standards and ensure a clean and efficient work environment.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures
• Provide leadership to team members and support departmental goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or a related technical field
• 4–6+ years of experience in supply chain, materials management, logistics, or a related leadership role.
• Experience working with MRP, SAP, or similar supply chain management systems
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory control, and production planning
• Proven ability to lead and direct employees, including authority for personnel decisions.
• Experience administering established policies and procedures while contributing to departmental planning and operational improvements
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage complex operational tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
