Job Title: Buyer
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer to manage purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and inventory levels to support uninterrupted production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, experience with ERP/MRP systems, and a focus on cost control and supplier performance.
Responsibilities • Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, components, and services • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and supplier agreements • Create and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials • Track shipments and proactively resolve supply chain delays • Monitor inventory levels and maintain appropriate stock to support production needs • Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage purchasing and inventory planning • Analyze purchasing trends and identify cost-saving opportunities • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to address supplier quality issues, defective materials, and vendor returns • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships Qualifications • Previous purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience preferred • Experience with ERP/MRP systems • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Excellent organizational and communication abilities • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel Why Apply?
