Position Title: Maintenance Technician Available Shift / Schedule: • 2nd shift 1-9pm • 3rd shift 9pm-5am Pay Rate: $25-32/hr Location: Cleveland, OH 44110 Required Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required. • 4–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. • Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, with a stronger background in electrical or hydraulic preferred. • Experience with PLC troubleshooting, automation systems, or CNC equipment. • Ability to read meters, schematics, and technical documentation. • Familiarity with CMMS systems for tracking maintenance activities and parts inventory. • PLC and automation diagnostics and support • Equipment reliability and preventive/predictive maintenance leadership • Root cause analysis and corrective action implementation • Proven ability to work independently on assigned shifts in a fast-paced environment. • Willingness to work overtime as needed, including occasional Saturdays. • Strong safety awareness, including lockout/tagout compliance. Purpose of Position: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operations. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, supporting production goals, and extending the life of equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance. The Maintenance Technician works closely with operations and engineering teams to identify issues, implement effective solutions, and uphold safety and quality standards. Through timely response, technical expertise, and adherence to maintenance best practices, this position supports operational efficiency, equipment reliability, and a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities: • Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implement timely, effective repairs. • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production support requests to maintain operational continuity. • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and recommend corrective or improvement actions. • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in maintenance logs or systems. • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements in collaboration with Operations and Engineering. • Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe work environment. • Assist with maintaining spare parts inventory and coordinating with vendors as needed. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency. • Communicate equipment status, risks, and repair timelines clearly to supervisors and production teams Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour Work Location: In person
