Equipment Operator

We are hiring an Equipment Operator in Fort Meade, FL for a full-time, day-shift position (Monday through Thursday) on a temp-to-hire basis. This role involves operating heavy equipment and supporting site operations, including planting, fertilizing, and maintaining job sites according to specifications. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and experienced in operating machinery in outdoor environments. Responsibilities: • Operate heavy equipment such as tractors, mowers, loaders, and forklifts • Apply grass seed, fertilizer, mulch, and sod per job specifications • Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance • Track and report product usage accurately • Follow all safety protocols, including MSHA and company guidelines Requirements: • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Experience operating heavy equipment in outdoor environments • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions • Willingness to work flexible hours to meet seasonal demands • Ability to follow safety procedures and complete required training (MSHA/FPP) • Must pass a background check and drug screening Additional Perk: Access to our Employee Discount Program – Save on hotels, restaurants, theme parks, movie tickets, and more.
