JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team for assignments in San Diego (South area) and Del Mar. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of all personnel, property, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual capable of monitoring activities, responding to incidents, and effectively communicating with law enforcement agencies when necessary. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring the safety of clients, guests, and property. * Conduct screenings, patrol the facility, and monitor surveillance to deter suspicious activity. * Respond to emergencies, provide first aid when needed, and follow established protocols. * Operate CCTV systems, maintain detailed incident logs, and collaborate with law enforcement when necessary. * Use strong decision-making and conflict management skills to de-escalate situations effectively. Qualifications & Skills: * Must have a valid California Security Guard license * Familiarity with surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies is preferred. * Strong conflict management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. * Excellent observational skills and attention to detail. Special Considerations: * Must hold or be willing to obtain a Power to Arrest certificate. * Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during shifts. * Candidates must possess and be able to provide a valid Guard Card and Power to Arrest certificate upon request.
