American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor & Delivery position at a teaching hospital, requiring Epic experience and multiple OB-specific certifications.

Requirements

• Active LA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and FHM • Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required • Teaching hospital experience required • Epic EMR experience required • Active LA RN license copy (Nursys verification required) • Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration • Copy of Driver's License required for consideration • Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Responsibilities

• High-risk OB unit in an academic teaching hospital setting • Labor & Delivery unit with a high-volume environment of approximately 200-300 births per month • Day shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30) • 13-week contract • On-call required as needed • Floating required to the Mother/Baby unit • Weekend shifts required as needed • Epic EMR used; prior experience is required • Hospital-provided scrubs • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; candidates within 75 miles should inquire about local rates • RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract • Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
