Safety Administrator The Safety Administrator is responsible for worksite safety-related items, including frequent worksite visits, safety evaluations, PPE (personal protective equipment) audits, evaluations and customer/worker communications as they relate to safety. This position reports to the Safety Manager and/or Branch Manager, depending on the location. General Responsibilities: The Safety Administrator report directly to the Safety Manager and/or Branch Manager. Descriptions and Functions Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Conducts daily worksite visits ensuring proper safety procedures are being followed, documented, and appropriate PPE is being utilized. Verifies dispatched workers are on the worksite with appropriate documentation such as flagger cards, work tickets, etc. Conducts Worksite Safety Analysis (“WSA”) and document all safety concerns. Completes incident reports and coordinates with Safety/Worker’s Compensation department as needed. Coordinates with customers, branch personnel, and internal departments on safety-related items as needed. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of flagger and worksite safety, training if necessary. Perform any other duties as assigned. Note: The responsibilities listed above may not be an exhaustive list and may evolve with business needs. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities 2 years of relevant experience Knowledge of safety procedures and requirements General computer knowledge Strong organization skills Excellent attention to detail Excellent time management skills Efficiently work with a lot of paperwork Clear communication and writing skills Customer service skills High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Adobe) Google Suites (Google Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Drives, and Gmail) Ability to multi task and prioritize tasks Ability to work independently or as a team member Ability to function well in a high pace environment Ability to work with a diverse group of people Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
