Our client, a leader in the global produce industry in Oxnard, CA is seeking dedicated team members to support their packing and palletizing operations. These roles are responsible for the final stages of production, ensuring avocados are sorted, packed, and stacked according to strict quality and configuration standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort and pack avocados by size, color, and ripeness while following specific customer bag and box configurations.

• Stack units and build pallets using corner boards, wraps, and straps to ensure loads are secure for transport.

• Identify and flag fruit or packaging discrepancies to ensure only premium products are processed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and production-ready workspace in compliance with food safety standards.

• Work efficiently under the direction of supervisors and leads to meet daily production goals.

Requirements

• Ability to read and communicate effectively in either Spanish or English.

• Must be able to lift or move up to 45 lbs and perform repetitive tasks such as standing, walking, stooping, and kneeling for long periods.

• Willingness to work in wet, humid conditions with temperatures between 35°F and 45°F.

• Comfort working safely near moving mechanical parts and following all safety protocols.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks with minimal direct supervision.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $16.66 – $17.55 per hour (depending on specific assignment)

• Shift: 2nd Shift (Must be flexible for start times at 6:00 AM, 11:00 AM, or 2:00 PM based on production needs)

Pay: Up to $17.55 per hour
