Pay: $21.86/hr

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and lead engaging Barre classes that combine strength, balance, flexibility, and low-impact movement
• Design creative routines set to music, incorporating proper form, alignment, and effective cueing techniques
• Provide clear instruction and modifications to support participants of all fitness levels
• Ensure a safe environment by monitoring participants, enforcing guidelines, and responding to emergencies if needed
• Maintain equipment and studio space, ensuring safe and proper use
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages confidence, consistency, and personal growth
• Promote class participation through community engagement and outreach efforts
• Track attendance, complete reports, and maintain accurate program records
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to enhancing overall program offerings
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• Barre or Group Fitness certification required
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
• Minimum of six (6) months of fitness instruction, dance, or related teaching experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Strong ability to create routines incorporating music, rhythm, tempo, and effective cueing
• Experience adapting classes to suit varying fitness levels and abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing a positive participant experience
• Ability to multitask, lead group activities, and maintain a structured, engaging class environment
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete reports and documentation
• Strong critical thinking and sound judgment in dynamic situations
