Now Hiring: Aquatic Fitness Instructor (Water Aerobics) We’re seeking an engaging Aquatic Fitness Instructor to lead water aerobics classes in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. In this role, you’ll help participants improve strength, mobility, and cardiovascular health, while enjoying the unique benefits of low-impact, water-based exercise. Whether you're guiding beginners or energizing experienced participants, your instruction will make a meaningful impact. Pay: $21.86/hr What We Offer: • Weekly pay via direct deposit or pay card • Health, dental, vision, and short-term benefits • Exclusive team member resources and perks Your Role: • Lead engaging aquatic fitness and water aerobics classes for participants of all ability levels • Design safe, effective, low-impact workouts that incorporate cardio, strength, and flexibility • Provide clear instruction on proper form, movement, and water resistance techniques • Offer modifications and progressions to meet diverse participant needs • Ensure a safe pool environment by monitoring participants and following all aquatic safety guidelines • Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating class atmosphere • Maintain and properly use aquatic equipment • Support additional fitness and wellness programs as needed and collaborate with team members What We’re Looking For: • Must be at least 18 years of age • High school diploma or GED required • Current (or ability to obtain within 30 days) First Aid and CPR/AED certifications; aquatic certification preferred • Water Aerobics, Aquatic Fitness, or Group Fitness certification required • Minimum of six (6) months of fitness instruction, teaching, or related experience—or equivalent combination of education and experience • Strong ability to lead group classes using music, rhythm, and effective cueing • Experience adapting workouts for a wide range of ages, abilities, and fitness levels • Ability to monitor participant safety and respond appropriately in an aquatic environment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage multiple participants and activities simultaneously • Basic computer skills and ability to complete reports and documentation • Strong judgment and critical-thinking skills Bring your expertise to the pool and help others stay active, healthy, and confident.
