Job Summary:

Provides specialized critical care nursing for neuro trauma patients in a Level II trauma NT/SICU unit. Manages complex conditions including ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities: • Deliver advanced nursing care to neuro and trauma patients within the NT/SICU. • Monitor and interpret critical neurological data such as ICP readings and lumbar drain output. • Administer and manage therapies including CRRT and other life-support interventions. • Float to other units such as Cardiovascular, Telemetry, ICU/CCU, or Med Surg as needed. • Document patient care activities accurately using EPIC charting system. • Maintain compliance with all acute critical care protocols and safety standards. Qualifications: • Possess at least 5 years of acute critical care nursing experience. • Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic health record charting. • Have current CA RN license in good standing. • Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications. • Have previous traveler nursing experience in a critical care setting.
