Job DescriptionJob DescriptionConfidential Opportunity – Project Surveyor - Survey Project Manager PSMLocation: West Palm Beach, FLPosition OverviewA well-established and growing engineering and surveying firm is conducting a confidential search for a Project Surveyor / Survey Project Manager (Florida PSM). This role combines field and office responsibilities and provides direct exposure to technical surveying work and operational leadership. The position includes mentorship from senior leadership with a path toward increased responsibility.Key Responsibilities • Perform and oversee surveying work in both field and office environments • Manage survey crews, scheduling, and project coordination • Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, and project economics • Support survey department operations and planning • Work on complex survey projects including ownership determinations and right-of-way analysis • Perform encumbrance mapping based on title research • Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance of deliverables • Develop understanding of legal and professional liability in surveying • Communicate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders Qualifications • Florida Registered Professional Surveyor & Mapper (PSM) required • 5–10+ years of surveying experience • Ability to work in both field and office settings • Experience managing crews and coordinating projects • Knowledge of complex boundary and title-related survey work • Strong understanding of surveying standards and practices • Interest in developing management and operational skills • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability • Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ideal Candidate • Self-motivated and growth-oriented • Interested in both technical work and leadership development • Collaborative and adaptable • Strong sense of accountability and initiative Growth Opportunity • Direct mentorship from senior leadership • Exposure to complex surveying projects • Opportunity to grow into leadership within the department • Involvement in both technical and business operations
