What You'll Do: • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions to keep everything up to date. • Count and verify materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies regularly. • Track new inventory as it arrives and reconcile it with purchase orders. • Place inventory orders to meet demand, monitoring reorder points to avoid shortages. • Replenish stock and make sure shelves are well stocked for smooth operations. • Identify slow-moving or obsolete items and recommend smart disposal or clearance strategies. • Work closely with other departments to ensure timely receipt and delivery of goods. • Prepare insightful inventory reports that highlight important trends for management.
Must-Have Skills: • Strong organizational and time management abilities with high attention to detail. • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Solid mathematical and analytical skills for accurate tracking and reporting. • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team. • Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting and moving heavy items safely. • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Nice to Have: • Previous experience in inventory management or a related field. • Familiarity with warehouse operations or retail environments. • Basic knowledge of barcode scanners or RFID technology.
Preferred Education & Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Proven experience handling inventory, stock control, or materials management is a plus.
