Job Title: Scrum Master Location: Tempe, AZ Type: Contract We're hiring a Scrum Master to support Agile delivery teams in the energy and utilities sector. In this role, you'll help teams navigate complex technology initiatives by promoting Agile best practices, removing roadblocks, and driving continuous improvement. You'll work closely with product owners, technical leads, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively in a mission-critical environment.

Your role:

• Facilitate all core Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and reviews • Guide teams on Scrum practices and help them mature in Agile principles • Identify and remove impediments to team progress, coordinating with leadership and other teams as needed • Track team performance using metrics like velocity and burndown, and provide regular reporting to stakeholders • Encourage team accountability, transparency, and self-organization • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through regular feedback loops and Agile coaching • Ensure Agile tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira) are used effectively for tracking and communication • Support cross-team coordination and alignment in a large enterprise setting

What you've got:

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a professional setting • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban • Proven experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and driving team accountability • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills • Experience with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) preferred • Prior experience in energy, utilities, or large enterprise environments is a plus
