Job Summary: We need a strong, reliable laborer for digging trenches, loading dirt, and site cleanup. Job Description: • Performs physical tasks on construction sites like hand-digging trenches, operating light equipment (tampers, jackhammers), loading materials, cleaning up debris, and assisting with site prep for utility installation, plumbing, or general construction, focusing on moving earth and preparing job sites manually and with machinery. • Digging trenches and holes with shovels, picks, and digging bars. • Clearing debris, moving dirt, grading, and setting up braces for excavations. • Loading/unloading materials, tools, and supplies. • Refilling holes, tamping soil, and replanting disturbed vegetation. • Involves strenuous activity, working outdoors in various weather conditions. • Critical awareness of surroundings, especially around heavy machinery and underground utilities. • Working under a foreman and collaborating with other craft workers. • Uses hand tools, power tools, and sometimes heavy machinery. • Ability to lift heavy items (80+ lbs), work long hours, and perform manual labor.
