Full-Time Distribution Center Associates (2nd Shift)

2nd Shift Warehouse Associate Location: Irving, TX Pay Rate: $19.50 $23.40/hr Schedule: 2nd Shift (12:00 PM 8:30 PM) | Peak Season: 11:00 AM 9:30 PM+ (Or until work is done) Position Summary Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to handle the manual and clerical tasks essential to their shipping and receiving operations. This role is perfect for a "hands-on" professional who excels in fast-paced environments where accuracy is non-negotiable. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of inventoryfrom receiving and inspecting goods to packing and routing finished products for shipment. Key Responsibilities • Receiving & Inspection: Verify incoming shipments against records, inspect item conditions, and route materials to designated stock or inspection areas. • Order Fulfillment: Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specific transportation methods and safety standards. • Documentation: Maintain precise written and computerized records of all received and shipped inventory. • Operations: Support general warehouse flow, ensuring all items are processed according to established procedures. Requirements • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of related warehouse or shipping/receiving experience. • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. • Skills: Strong attention to detail and proficiency in basic computerized documentation. • Physical/Schedule: Ability to work 2nd shift and commit to overtime during peak seasons (10+ hour shifts). • Preferred: Current or prior Forklift Certification.
