Job Description
Division Manager – Central Texas
Austin, TX
Operations / Construction
Located in Central Texas, our client is a well-established and growing construction services organization specializing in complex, project-based work across commercial and industrial markets. With a strong reputation for execution, safety, and client delivery, the company is entering a new phase of growth and operational expansion.
As the business continues to scale, they are seeking a Division Manager to lead their Central Texas operations. This is a true general management role with full ownership of regional performance, including P&L, business development, project execution, and team leadership.
This is not a project role. This is a leadership seat.
Your mission is to run and grow the region — build a high-performing team, strengthen client relationships, drive operational discipline, and deliver consistent financial performance. If you are a proven operator who can lead from the front, bring structure to growth, and operate with both field credibility and executive presence, this is for YOU.
Your Mission:
Own the business. Build the team. Drive growth. Deliver results. LET’S GO.
What YOU get to DO in this role: • Own full P&L performance for the region, including revenue growth, margin, and profitability • Drive business development efforts, identifying and securing new opportunities within the Central Texas market • Lead project execution across preconstruction, operations, and field teams to ensure delivery on time and on budget • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team across project management, estimating, and field operations • Serve as the senior leader for key client relationships, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships • Establish operating cadence, metrics, and accountability to drive consistent performance and continuous improvement • Partner with executive leadership to align regional strategy with broader company goals • Bring structure, discipline, and leadership presence to a growing operation
What you NEED to SUCCEED in this role: • 15+ years of experience in construction, general contracting, industrial services, or a related project-based environment • Proven experience leading a region, division, or business unit with P&L responsibility • Strong financial acumen and understanding of project-based economics • Track record of building and leading teams while driving accountability and performance • Demonstrated ability to operate as a client-facing leader with executive presence and credibility • Strong knowledge of the Central Texas / Austin market • Experience in structural steel or related disciplines is helpful, but not required • Bachelor’s degree preferred
What’s in it for you at this company? • A senior leadership role with full ownership of a regional business • Compensation aligned with the scope and impact of the position, including meaningful upside for top performers • Opportunity to step into a leadership seat during a key phase of growth • Ability to shape the team, culture, and operating structure of the division • Comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, retirement plans, and paid time off • A leadership team that values performance, accountability, and operational excellence
