TITLE: Spice Ingredient Mixer

LOCATION: Renton, WA

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm

PAY: $22-$24 DOE

SUMMARY:

Responsible for measuring, mixing, and preparing spices and dry ingredients used in large-scale food production, ensuring consistency, quality, and food safety.

JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately weigh and measure spices and dry ingredients based on batch formulas/recipes

• Prepare and stage ingredients for production lines (sauces, dressings, soups, etc.)

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch sheets

• Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards (GMP, HACCP, allergen control)

• Label, organize, and store ingredients properly

• Monitor inventory of spices and report shortages

• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas

• Assist production team with mixing or batching when needed

REQUIREMENT SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable performing physical, labor-intensive work

• Experience as a line cook, food prep worker, or similar role required

• Background in a restaurant, kitchen, or food manufacturing environment

• Strong basic math skills for measuring and batching ingredients

• Ability to follow formulas, recipes, and detailed instructions accurately

• Flexible and willing to perform a variety of tasks as needed
