Snelling Staffing is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Specialist position for the North Canton Area.

• Weekly Pay

• Pay starts at $17 an hour

• Shift is: Tuesday-Saturday shift (T-F 7am-4pm and Sat 6am-3pm)

• EXPERIENCE IS A MUST

• have experience operating a forklift, order picker or reach truck.

• have a great attendance record and demonstrate a good work ethic (someone who shows enthusiasm to learn the role and takes initiative after completing a task to keep busy).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Shipments: Oversee the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies, ensuring that all logistics procedures are followed accurately.

• Inventory Management: Verify the contents of incoming shipments against packing slips or purchase orders, and properly label and store received items in inventory.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, including tracking, tracing, and updating the status of shipments.

• Collaboration: Work closely with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, and service providers to facilitate smooth shipping and receiving operations.

• Physical Tasks: Load and unload packages, sort and stock receivables, and maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Customer Interaction: Engage with vendors and drivers positively, providing excellent service and support.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
