We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Manufacturing Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machinery to manufacture high-quality laboratory products, including pipettes, plates, and racks. You will work within assigned production cells to ensure that output meets strict quality standards while maintaining an organized and productive work environment. Responsibilities: Equipment Operation: Operate line equipment in assigned cells, including molding press machines, assembly systems, and packaging machinery. Production Oversight: Monitor output quality and quantity, making minor adjustments to machines within defined parameters to ensure continuous flow. Documentation: Complete production records by recording relevant data onto forms or via electronic entry, ensuring accuracy and adherence to good documentation practices. Material Handling: Stage raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods according to established procedures. Quality Control: Perform routine monitoring and inspection activities at each stage of production to ensure products meet technical specifications. Assembly & Packaging: Assemble, package, label, palletize, and stage products for shipment. Maintenance & Safety: Perform daily housekeeping and waste removal; work safely with tools, cleaning equipment, and chemicals while wearing required PPE. Team Collaboration: Relieve team members for breaks or absences and rotate duties as required to maintain operational efficiency. Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Skills: Documentation Standards: Familiarity with "Good Documentation Practices" (GDP) or working in a regulated manufacturing environment. Versatility: Experience working in cross-functional teams or rotating between different production cells. Basic Computer Literacy: Ability to perform electronic data entry for production tracking. Education: High School Experience: 1-4 years Qualifications: Technical Aptitude: Ability to operate machinery and perform minor mechanical adjustments. Attention to Detail: Precision in performing quality inspections and maintaining accurate production logs. Physical Stamina: Ability to work in an environment with constant machinery noise; ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and rarely up to 35 pounds.
