Administrative Assistant

Star Staffing is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to serve as the primary point of contact for hotel guests. This role is responsible for managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate balances strong customer service skills with the ability to handle light administrative and operational tasks. $18.00-$19.00hr Key Responsibilities • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner • Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, and requests • Deliver a positive guest experience and resolve issues as they arise • Process reservations, payments, and cancellations • Maintain accurate guest records and room inventory • Complete and review front desk paperwork and reports • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area • Assist with light housekeeping tasks as needed (e.g., folding laundry) • Follow all hotel policies and procedures for guest identification • Ensure the safety and security of guests and property • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness • Communicate effectively with team members across departments Qualifications • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills • Comfortable using computers and basic software (experience with hotel systems is a plus) • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Schedule & Work Environment • Flexible availability required, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts • Fast-paced, extended-stay hotel environment focused on efficiency and cleanliness About Star Staffing A women-powered workforce solutions and staffing company serving Northern California with offices in Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Napa, Fairfield, Sacramento, Lodi, Hayward, Stockton, and Manteca.
