Established law firm is hiring an entry level Legal Assistant. The position is full time and a permanent role. Paid training is provided along with a very generous benefits package; including medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off and more.
The ideal applicant will have either a Degree in Legal Studies (or Paralegal Certification) or 1-2 years of experience working in a law firm, however this is not required.
Duties include working directly with potential clients regarding an accident or injury. Individuals must have an interest in personal injury, insurance defense, medical malpractice or general civil litigation. The Legal Assistant (also known as an Intake Specialist or Pre-suit Paralegal) plays a vital role within the firm. You will take new client calls and be responsible for initial fact gathering of case details.
Individuals interested in this role should have the necessary legal experience as well as possess a compassionate personality and strong communication skills over the phone. This role involves heavy client contact (over the phone) as well as document management.
