Working in a climate-controlled warehouse, you will collaborate with colleagues to meet production targets while ensuring that safety and operational efficiency are always prioritized.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Shipping and Receiving Worker, your key responsibilities will include organizing, assembling, and stocking store displays. You will ensure smooth operations by maintaining high standards for productivity, safety, and teamwork. • Assemble and organize display units using cardboard and plastic materials. • Operate various tools such as hot glue guns, staplers, and zip ties; operate shrink-wrapping machines and banders after training. • Collaborate with team members to follow instructions on co-packing lines. • Lift and move items weighing up to 25 lbs regularly; heavier items require assistance. • Keep up with the fast-paced nature of the job while adhering to safety guidelines. • Perform physical activities like bending, reaching, and crouching as directed by supervisors. • Safely operate light machinery and equipment after receiving proper training. • Comply with company dress code and warehouse operational procedures.
Required Skills and Experience: • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift). • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. • Ability to follow specific instructions and adhere to safety protocols. • Experience with basic warehouse tools and equipment is an advantage. • Physical ability to lift, bend, crouch, and perform repetitive tasks.
Preferred Qualifications: • Prior experience in a warehouse or assembly line setting. • Familiarity with shrink wrap machines and banders. • Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and equipment operation.
