Role and Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist, your responsibilities will involve supporting the organization and preparation of materials for product displays. You will collaborate with the team to pack, label, and prepare goods for shipping. This physically demanding role also involves using tools and managing inventory to maintain smooth warehouse operations.
• Help with organizing, stocking, and preparing materials like cardboard and plastic for display setups.
• Utilize tools such as hot glue guns, staplers, and zip ties to assemble display materials securely.
• Work as part of the team to operate and manage the co-packing line effectively.
• Lift and transport items weighing up to 25 lbs regularly, requesting assistance for heavier items when necessary.
• Operate shrink wrap machines and banders to package products for shipment.
• Follow safety guidelines and work instructions to ensure a safe and productive environment.
• Stand for extended periods and perform a variety of physical tasks during your shift.
• Participate in voluntary overtime when additional support is needed during peak periods.
• Ensure accuracy and precision in handling inventory and assembling product displays.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs consistently, with assistance available for heavier loads.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or physically demanding role is desirable.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods (up to 8 hours) in a physically active position.
• Experience with basic tools such as staplers, glue guns, and zip ties is preferred.
• Attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions carefully.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
• Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience operating warehouse machinery such as shrink wrap machines and banders.
• Background in co-packing or assembly line environments.
• Knowledge of inventory management and packing protocols.
