Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented EHS Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety programs. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while promoting a safe work environment and reducing risk.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with EHS policies, procedures, and training programs
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, DEA, and other regulations
• Maintain controlled substance records and documentation
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions
• Assist with hazardous waste management and chemical safety programs
• Maintain SDS documentation and proper chemical storage
• Coordinate safety training and emergency response drills
• Track and report EHS performance metrics
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Chemistry, or related field preferred
• 2–5 years of EHS experience (manufacturing or industrial preferred)
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DEA regulations
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (EHS software a plus)
• Relevant certifications (OSHA, CHMM, etc.) preferred
