JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description Job Title: Legal Assistant – Litigation Location: West Chester, PA Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Compensation: $55,000 – $65,000 Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k Our client is a well-established, full-service law firm individuals and businesses across Pennsylvania and Delaware. Job Responsibilities: • Provide overflow administrative and litigation support to all attorneys within the litigation department • Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents including correspondence, pleadings, motions, and discovery materials • Manage and organize case files, both physical and electronic, ensuring accuracy and accessibility • Calendar and track deadlines, court dates, hearings, and filing requirements • Coordinate e-filing in Pennsylvania courts and assist with court submissions • Handle attorney scheduling, communications, and correspondence • Process and track legal billing using TABS; manage documents through iManage • Assist with document review, copying, scanning, and distribution • Liaise with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional manner • Support attorneys with trial preparation and related tasks as needed Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of experience in a law firm setting — required • Litigation experience strongly preferred • Strong familiarity with legal document preparation, court procedures, and e-filing • Proficiency with TABS and/or iManage a plus — not required • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Professional, team-oriented demeanor with a proactive attitude • High school diploma required; additional legal education a plus Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
