Job Summary
A leading food and beverage production operation in the Bakersfield, CA area is hiring a Tetra Pak Controls & Automation Technician for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a hands-on controls, automation, PLC, or maintenance technician with direct experience supporting Tetra Pak liquid processing, pasteurization, filling, and aseptic systems.
This is a specialized technical role, not a general maintenance position. The right candidate will bring strong troubleshooting skills, automation knowledge, and practical experience keeping Tetra Pak systems running safely, efficiently, and reliably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
You will join a production-focused team where technical expertise is valued, downtime reduction matters, and experienced technicians have the opportunity to make a direct impact on equipment performance, process reliability, and overall plant success.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, program, modify, and repair Tetra Pak processing and packaging equipment. - Support pasteurization systems, liquid processing equipment, fillers, homogenizers, and aseptic production operations. - Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, PLC, HMI, VFD, motor, sensor, and automation-related issues. - Read and interpret electrical schematics, control drawings, PLC logic, and equipment documentation. - Respond to production issues quickly and independently to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. - Perform preventative maintenance activities and support continuous improvement of maintenance and reliability programs.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity. - Pay range: $46 to $50 per hour. - Location: Bakersfield, CA area.
