Schedule: Monday- Friday 9 am to 6 pm (occasional Saturdays) Pay: $18 to $20/hr Job Overview The Warehouse Specialist is a team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position plays a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations by efficiently sorting, moving, and processing products while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The Warehouse Specialist works under the direction of warehouse leadership and contributes to the overall success of warehouse operations through teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities • Assist with unloading donations from multiple trucks throughout the day. • Sort, process, and prepare donated goods efficiently and accurately. • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and other material-handling equipment, as trained and certified. • Transport and properly place products, pallets, and materials in designated warehouse locations. • Create bales as needed to support warehouse operations. • Assist with loading trailers and containers, including completing and maintaining required documentation. • Maintain warehouse organization to ensure efficient workflow and product accessibility. • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. • Collaborate effectively with team members, leadership, donors, and other stakeholders. • Provide a customer-focused approach in all interactions and daily tasks. • Perform duties accurately and efficiently to support operational goals. • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and employee handbook guidelines. • Support department and company objectives through teamwork and productivity. • Develop knowledge of warehouse processes and best practices through ongoing communication with leadership. • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications • Previous warehouse, distribution, forklift or related experience preferred. • Valid forklift certification preffered. • Ability to safely and efficiently operate warehouse equipment. • Strong attendance record and punctuality. • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements • Ability to stand, walk, and remain on your feet for extended periods, up to 10 hours per day. • Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and move items weighing up to 60 pounds. • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday. • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and conditions.
