Purchasing Assistant

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for negotiation and organization? We are seeking a Purchasing Assistant to be a key player in our procurement team! In this dynamic role, you will support the purchasing process, ensuring that our inventory meets the needs of our business while maximizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Your contributions will be vital in helping us maintain strong supplier relationships and streamline our purchasing operations. Required Skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment • Bilingual: English/Spanish Nice to Have Skills • Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems • Basic knowledge of supply chain management principles • Previous experience in a purchasing or inventory role Preferred Education and Experience • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field • 1-3 years of relevant experience in purchasing or administrative support Other Requirements • Ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities • May require occasional travel for supplier visits or trade shows
