Join a premier mechanical sampling services company for coal in the Curtis Bay area and learn the craft alongside an experienced Senior Mechanic. As a Mechanical Sampling Technician Apprentice, you’ll operate mechanical sampling equipment at a bulk terminal in Curtis Bay while supporting preventive maintenance across critical machinery. A day in the life

You’ll start your shift reviewing equipment status with the Senior Mechanic, then move onto scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections. Between rounds, you’ll document your work, keep maintenance logs current, and jump in to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic issues as they arise. Throughout the day, you’ll be the extra set of hands and eyes that keeps the system running smoothly for our clients. What you’ll handle • Initiate and complete Maintenance Action Sheets (MAS) • Maintain PM records and MAS log documentation • Conduct routine equipment inspections and communicate any issues to clients • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems Where and when you’ll work • Location: Bulk terminal in Curtis Bay • Schedule: Day shift, Wednesday–Sunday; some weekends may require overnight work if needed
